Besides the amazing race discussion... we have had Josh's Mom, Nana, out to visit and my Dad, Grandpa. Josh also took 10 teenagers on a college tour that he planned and Macy took her first couple steps! How exciting!
I took some pictures on Easter but when it was all said and done I realized that I only got one video of Macy and the rest were of Aylah. The 2nd born always gets the shaft huh? But we will put her back in her cute dress and take some more pictures :) To be fair Macy did take 2 naps and was sleeping during the egg hunt...
And as we speak I am working on getting our picture gallery downloaded and up and working again on Josh's computer. I know it had been a while since it crashed but we have had lots of visitors and I figured a clean house and food to eat was more important.
So it's getting super nice out here and we bought a pail and shovels and a soccer ball for Aylah for the park. She is learning how to kick... I was appalled the other day when she was playing with a friends' ball and acted all confused when I told her to kick it to me. I know my child development books tell me that kicking skills are just starting around this age but still... we're working on it. The other night she kicked too hard and wound up on her back in the living room. So we've got some work to do. She'll get it!
Macy is a 24 pounds now and 30 inches tall. She had a growth spurt that rocketed her to the top of the charts again. She is saying ma-ma, da-da, daddy, hi, bye, and the newest is uh-oh accompanied by a bottle or cheerios sailing off of her booster chair tray. She is very proud of that one!
One of my friends moved away during the past few weeks. She was a great woman that I really admired who I met at my mom's group. They moved to Colorado. I figured that when we first moved out here that I probably wouldn't develop close relationships with people that I would be sad to leave... and that we would probably be the first ones to move away. But look at us now, 2 1/2 years into it and buying a condo. It made me sad to say goodbye but I'm trying to get over it.
Well, that's about it for now. Happy April!

We love the Amazing Race! When we watch it, we always talk about who would do what roadblock, etc. Jeff and I would not be very good race partners. He is much too competitive for me!!
So, I've never watched the Amazing Race but have heard of it. For the record, we would for sure watch it if you guys were on plus it would be super fabulous to have millionaire relatives. ;) LOL. Miss you guys! Love, Liz & the rest of the crew of course!
You should soo do a try out video. Eric and I watch that show and we have talked about it too. Our reason for not doing it is Emmett. All of your reasons for why we would be good at it our the same as yours except I can't drive a stick and he can. All the rest are the same. I would be the stressed one and Eric the laid back one. So, you guys need to do it.
if you do the Amazing Race, i will totally help you if you get to Cambodia! (i would help in other countries, too, if i were there). i think you two would be great-- quality television! :)
offer still stands...i should get my financial aid package this week... ;)
