I was walking into the bathroom today to take a shower and Aylah, playing in the kitchen said, "bye, Mommy. See you later, Mommy." pause "Mommy, chachee?" I said, "Yup Aylah, I've got my coffee. Love you." How bad is that? Everytime I leave to go somewhere Aylah is quick to ask if I have my coffee with me. Am I that addicted? I only drink one cup every morning but I guess it's such a habit now that it's Aylah's habit to remind me about my habit. I snapped these 2 pics of Aylah reading to Macy. She loves her so much and Macy now smiles a huge grin whenever she sees Aylah. She does, however, tense up when she hears her voice because Aylah is a little aggressive, lets say, in her play.

I saw the drag queen again the other day. This time he/she was wearing a gorgeous green gown with a red hat. There weren't any police accompanying her this time :)
Well our little girl turned 2! I've had several moments when I just can't believe that I'm the mom of 2 kids, one of those being 2 years old. I have some pictures of the occasion that I'll put up. We finally got a family picture taken. Better late than never. So I made it our new website picture so you should take a look over to the right. Aylah was so fun on her birthday. She went around saying, "Hap birday!" and then saying "I two. I two old." I thought, yup, you sure are getting too old! She got to talk to her grandpa and grandma on our new web cam on her birthday. Thanks grandpa and grandma! I'm sure we'll use it a lot. She also received some great presents. A couple favorite are her new shoes from Deborah, Dora the video from grandpa and grandma, and 2 new cars and flip flop pajamas from Nana and Papa! And of course a purse complete with a credit card and phone from Uncle Jonah and Aunt Elizabeth and Ella (who by the way are expecting cousin #2 in February for our girls to play with)!!!

Aylah talking to her peeps.... she is getting to be a pro on the phone, if you can decifer toddler speak.I finally got a few pics of our new house. These are just a few. I will put up more after this week once we purchase Aylah's bunk beds and move some furniture around in the bedrooms.

Last weekend my good friend and roommate from college, Katie, got married in Georgia. Macy and I flew down so that I could be in the wedding. My sister flew over from Texas to help me take care of Macy while I did my bridesmaid duties. It was the first time she met Macy! I was sooooo happy she could meet her and it was great to see her again. I know that she was feeling homesick since she hasn't seen anyone from our fam since Christmas.
Here is Katie and I :)

A couple of Macy with mommy. Great job doing my hair sister!

While Macy and I were away, David came to visit Josh in NJ. Some of you may know David. He is in college now and plays football and runs track at Olivet! He is getting so old! I feel like his mom sometimes. We met him when he was only 14 years old. It was great having David stay for a while. He loved NYC when Josh took him. I think they were in Central Park in this photo.

Well, our summer is busy, as you can see. Josh just finished the job fair and is exhausted from a very very very long week at work. But I think he is happy with the new kids he hired for Summer camp and for next school year. Dawn is coming this weekend again and we plan on going to the Zoo in Central Park with the girls. I am super excited and feel blessed that she can come and visit again. Well, that's all for now.
