So this past week we bought a refrigerator.
Our refrigerator was delivered and couldn't fit through the front door... or back door. Oops.
Aylah is just so freakin cute right now. She is so fun to be with and I wish that I could spend more one on one time with her. She is learning how to count. She can go from 1 to 9 but sometimes says 1, 2, 3, pause, 8, niiiiiiine. She loves to say 9. She also still loves Macy. She is very, very excited to see her after every night and naptime. She says "Hi Macy!" kind of like it's the first time she has ever seen her. And she still runs over and gives her a hug and kiss.
Our new apartment might be more in the "hood" than our last place was, if that is possible. Our neighborhood is also very different too. Our old place had lots of diversity but our new place is all African Americans, oh and these weird 4 new white people who just moved in..... "are you lost ma'am?" "Um, nope, just going for a walk with my kids."
Macy is kind of high needs right now. I'm about to venture into letting her cry herself to sleep. I hate this part of the game but understand how important it is in the long run. Wish us luck. Crying at night can be just a little more irritating than it is during the day.
Dawn and I spent 3 hours in Ikea shopping for apartment furnishings when she was here. She was super helpful and I think we did pretty well considering we had both girls with us.
Here is a video of Macy I took today. I was trying to catch her smiling so it's a little "slow" to watch if you know what I mean but I mainly took it for my sister, Marie, because she won't be able to meet Macy until August and I know that she wishes she could see her sooner! There is also a video of Aylah with Macy... Macy makes lots of grunts and squeals, Aylah never made near the amount of sounds as Macy does :)

I LOVE the Macy video! Her smiles put the biggest smile on my face too. Watching Aylah made me realize how much she has progressed since January when I saw her last. Thank you for two great videos Sister!
