Sleep Anyone?

I'm glad that my memory is bad... because otherwise this whole sleep deprivation thing might have just ruled out my desire to have a 2nd baby. Is it really fair for me to be mad at a 2 week old when it's 4 in the morning and I just nursed her at 3 and she is still awake grunting in her crib in our bedroom? Probably not, I know.... but I was last night.

And am I going crazy when I wake myself up from a dead sleep because I hear myself say "shhh shhh shh" in my sleep because it's 2 in the morning and for some reason Macy is crying in our room and I can hear Aylah across the apartment crying in her room...? Nope, just sleep deprived.

Here are some quick updates:

We put in an application for an apartment less than a mile from New City. We can most likely move in May 1st. We are in the middle of submitting all of the necessary paperwork but we did already pick out the apartment we want as ours. It is on the 3rd floor and is currently being renovated so it is basically brand new. It has an awesome view of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty from our big kitchen windows. It has 3 bedrooms so the girls can share one and we can have people visit (like you). And it has a large master bedroom so we won't feel like we sleep in a small box anymore :)

Josh is preparing to take the teens on the College Tour again in about 2 weeks. My parents are coming back out to stay with me during the week that he is gone... praise the lord! because I couldn't make it by myself for that long.

Our parents have all left for now and I just survived my 2nd day all by myself with the girls. I feel like at any moment they could both have a breakdown and I'll find myself in the fetal position in the corner. But for now I just take one day at a time.

Today Aylah plopped down on the couch next to me with her baby doll, lifted her shirt up and said "Milk?" I laughed out loud. It was bound to happen one of these days, right?

Aylah really likes to hit lately... not so good for her sister or for the amount of time she is spending in time outs.

If you know of anyone who is going to have a baby girl around June/July... we have an excessive amount of baby clothes from Aylah and from other people who have recently given us a lot of hand-me-downs for Macy. Needless to say we aren't planning on having any more children in the near future and are interested on pairing down quite a bit! We have onesies, pants, bibs, sleepers, and enough hats to clothe half of New York City.

That's about all I can think of for now. I'm feeling quite sleepy...

I'm having a little girl, due June 11th :) and would LOVE some of Aylah's clothes if you're willing to part with them!

Glad to hear all is going good... well, as good as can be expected. By June you can give me tips on how to handle the first few weeks, cuz I'm sure I'll need advice!

I'm excited to hear about your future apartment, it sounds like a great fit for you!

Love you guys and miss you bunches!
