Macy and I came home Saturday morning and we are very blessed that my parents came on Saturday night. In just a few short hours Josh and I had trashed our apartment and were feeling very overwhelmed about taking care of our 2 little girls. Since I had a c-section I can't really move that well and can't lift Aylah... which poses lots of problems. Having help come so soon was amazing!!!! I can't even express in words right now. I'm healing more and more each day and Macy is doing incredibly well. We feel so blessed to not have the additional stress of a NICU stay with this little girl and felt so fortunate to be able to go home from the hospital at the same time. I would love prayers for nursing Macy. We ended up bottle feeding Aylah and so I'm really hoping that this time nursing is succesfull. So pray for a decrease in pain.... thank you!
Aylah LOVES Macy and points to her all the time, says "baby" and then tries to tickle her. She loves to hold her, be by her, push her in the swing.... anywhere Macy is, Aylah wants to be. She is doing much better today emotionally than yesterday. By the time I got home Aylah had been without her mom for 4 days and we could tell she was pretty out of sorts. Just too much of a change from her ordinary life. But..... Deborah, our wonderful friend, took care of Aylah basically the whole time I was in the hospital and left on Saturday saying that she thought Aylah was so cute.... what an amazing person to still be loving our daughter after several days of one-on-one care and a crazy, random schedule. We were very blessed to have her help us!
So here are the pictures. I will be able to write more later about other random things but I know that pictures are what people really want to see :)
