February is so close to March...

For those of you who were/are interested, the Feb 1 date has come and gone and all of my grad things are submitted. It was a rush at the end because one of my letters of recommendation backed out but I had a very thoughtful and kind person who stepped in and did one last minute. So now I'll just wait to hear from Rutgers and then if I'm accepted, decide if I want to start school this Fall or Fall 2010.

Another update is that one of the women who lived in the other apartment across the hall from us passed away. She has had a lot of health problems and has been in and out of the hospital. So the other woman moved out and so we have an empty apartment upstairs with us. I think the plan is to "spruce it up" a bit and have interns live there. Right now New City has to find individual placements for interns and I think it has been a bit of a struggle to find housing for everyone. So once we move in May, they will have 2 apartments. I think they would love to have one for girls and one for boys. Makes sense to me. I hope the girls get our apartment because they will appreciate the lovely paint on the walls :)

We recently purchased a double stroller off of Craig's List. We had a lot of family members give us money as a gift for Christmas for the purchase of the stroller. So I figured it deserved a picture or two. Aylah is sitting in the bottom seat. (I couldn't get her out after I took the pictures. She just wanted to sit in there for almost a half hour... go figure) The top seat is where the car seat will be able to snap in for the baby and then eventually either girl can use the top or bottom seat once we don't need the car seat anymore. It also has this crazy thing that folds down all the way for the baby to lay in and then the bottom seat that Aylah is sitting in in the photos snaps in above it in the front. Somebody spent a long time thinking up the design of this..... I'm very excited about it, hence the mention in the blog. Josh on the other hand is not too interested in it but I've come to accept that. I'm excited that it takes the bumps so well on all of the crazy sidewalks around here. I think it will be great come spring!

Here is a quick video of Aylah too on a regular ol day.

Aylah has been experimenting with her potty seat lately. Here are a couple pictures of her trying to figure it out.

Oh my gosh I love this post! I have watched the video twice already:) The "no,no,no" is so cute. You see, the third car just could not be left behind.
Now, you know Josh is going to LOVE that red hot stroller once he gets the chance to use it.
Tell Aylah Eyes Auntie Marie loves her!
